Found in Echo Park: Orca, a female pit bull mix

Submitted by Iva

Found in the middle of the street, this little girl was wandering in traffic without a collar or ID. She’s been to the vet (no microchip), been de-wormed and vaccinated. She is not yet spayed, and has a chipped front canine tooth that needs to be fixed. 1-year old 45-lbs female Pit/Lab Mix

She is in temporary foster care in a house with other dogs and kids, and is happy, healthy, super friendly and loves to cuddle!

She is smart! Knows basic commands: come, sit, lay down, and is learning “heal”. She walks well on and off-leash, and gets very excited by squirrels.

She is getting used to rides in the car. She has not yet been introduced to cats, and she hates being left out alone in the yard!! She is fearful of being abandoned. Needs love and security, and will give boundless love back.
