It’s not uncommon for L.A. homeowners to decorate their homes or gardens with a bit of whimsical statuary – a gnome, a lion or even a Buddha. But some people don’t know when to quit. Take for instance this Eagle Rock home, which recently went up for sale, that is filled inside and out with statues and figurines of all manner. There are cherubs, dragons, angels, maidens and at least one mushroom – and that’s just in the front yard.
The Redfin listing for the three-bedroom home describes the 32 steps to the front door, the flowing floor plan, and the location on Hill Drive, which according to the description was considered “the Bel Air of Eagle Rock” when the 1951 house was built. But there’s mention of all those statutes. Do they come included for $699,000?
