She eschewed “hippy dippy” and Intelligentsia and ended up at shady table outside Millie’s for some comfort food. “Their Huevos Ranchero were tasty,” she said.

  1. Jesus, your Millie’s link shoots over to the Yelp page for Silverlake Auto Detail. It should be http://www.yelp.com/biz/millies-cafe-los-angeles

Thanks for tirelessly running this awesome blog. 🙂

  2. that huevos is no joke. no i’m hungry.

  3. While I’m thinking of it, I nominate Kush Sake Bar on Sunset @ Elysian Park for the BEST Japanese fusion and amazing service to boot. Believe the Yelpers – this place is a GEM!

  4. millie’s food is good but they have flies that swarm not only the outside tables but inside areas as well. makes for a completely disgusting service.

    • You say disgusting, I say authentic experience. Why must everything be gentrified to death?

      • Yeah, those flies have been in the hood for generations! Just more woking class displacement at the hands of the hipster scum gentrifiers. Millie’s should be a little more culturally welcoming! I sense a masked protest in the offing.
