SILVER LAKE — The Sunset Junction coffee scene just got another player with today’s official opening of Dinosaur Coffee in the same building that is home to the wavy Elliot Smith mural. Co-owner Ben Hantoot, who was also one of the co-creators of Cards Against Humanity, said the Sunset Boulevard cafe will be serving coffee from Fourbarrel, tea from Song Tea and a range of sweet and savory pastries and snacks.
Dinosaur Coffee will be open every day from 8 am to 5 pm but later hours are expected soon. “If people want us to stay open late, we will,” Hantoot said.
