Hit-and-run driver damages fire hydrant and cars in El Sereno

EL SERENO — The L.A. DWP has restored water service to a section of El Sereno after a hit-and-run driver struck several several parked cars, one of which sheared off a fire hydrant reports NBC LA.

No injuries were reported in the collision that took place shortly before 2 a.m. in the 5260 block of Borland Road, a fountain of water poured into the street.  The driver had not been apprehended.

    • All of a sudden there have been a lot of editing errors in the Eastsider lately. I did not notice such errors much at all in the last few years. What’s changed?
