  • The L.A. City Council voted to ban the use of chewing tobacco and other smokeless tobacco products at Dodger Stadium and all other sports venues across the city. ABC7
  • Occidental College in Eagle Rock and Trinity College of Hartford, Conn were tied in the No. 43 spot on U.S. News & World Report’s list of the best liberal arts colleges across the nation.  Meanwhile, Cal State L.A. in El Sereno was tied with several other schools in 63rd place in the ranking of best regional universities in the West.
