Fatal Highland Park bus stabbing suspect identified; water main breaks in Silver Lake

• The individual detained in Monday’s fatal stabbing on board a Metro bus in Highland Park has been identified as 43-year-old Allen Jay Milton. He was later arrested, booked on a murder charge and is being held on $1 million bail. LASD

• Water mains were busting all over the place this morning. In Silver Lake, LADWP crews are working to repair an 8-inch water line that ruptured near the 2400 block of Glendale Boulevard. Water service to 20 customers has been disrupted. Water line breaks were also reported in Mar Vista, Del Rey and Lynwood. NBC LA  &  LADWP
