As Northeast Los Angeles celebrates art and music with the 11th Annual Lummis Day Festival, third-generation silhouette artist Karl Johnson creates hand-cut silhouettes in Eagle Rock; the Don Rader Jazz Quartet performs a free concert in Echo Park; the Autry Museum in Griffith Park presents a festival of new plays written and performed by Native Americans; and antique fans — powered by electricity, water, air or alcohol — will be traded, sold and shown off at Heritage Square.
