BOYLE HEIGHTS — A man is in stable condition after he was struck by gunfire from a passing vehicle as the victim was moving his wife’s car early this morning.
Officers responded to a call of shots fired at around 4:30 a.m. near the intersection of Evergreen Avenue and Fairmount Street, said Sgt. Miguel Lopez with LAPD’s Hollenbeck Division.
The victim, in his 30s, was struck several rounds that were fired from a car that drove up. The victim, who was transported to a hospital, was struck in the hip and in the arm, said Lopez.
