San Francisco-based Cruffin creators Mr. Holmes Bakehouse opens this Saturday, Oct. 1, in Highland Park, Eater LA reports. The space comes with a somewhat open prep-and-bake area in the back, a lengthy cement bar, and pastry cases filled with their famous croissant-muffin hybrid filled with cream, among other sweet treats. Caffeine abounds, with the choice of coffee, espresso and green tea. There’s also a plan in the works for expanding to wholesale baking in the large art-deco space.
