Tent city on Nov 28 | Tom Dailey

ECHO PARK — Tom Dailey has had a great vantage point to watch workers set up the large white and gold Cirque du Soleil  tents in the Dodger Stadium parking lot. Dailey took before and after shots of the lot late last month as the crew prepared for today’s opening of the traveling company’s show Luzia

“I watched them set up two years ago, and it is quite a massive operation,” Dailey said in an email. “The surveyors worked for at least 4 days before they even brought in a tractor and asphalt. Monday night they began rehearsing the music and went until midnight.  They are pretty good neighbors because the crowd is not too enormous and I like the music more than AC/DC.”
