Rentals: City council members, who have spent more than two years trying to create regulations for Airbnb and other short-term rentals, asked staff to take another month to study whether to allow some homeowners to rent out their properties for most of the year. L.A. Times

Woodland Decor: Actress Natasha Leggero was inspired by Yosemite’s former Ahwahnee Hotel (now the Majestic) when she decorated her Silver Lake living room with a “little forest vibe.” The large room features woodland-theme wallpaper, gold antler decor, a white fur rug and a deer sculpture that once belonged to Jackie Collins. Music: Lo Moon, an electronic band based in a garage-studio in Atwater Village, is releasing its first LP later this month through Columbia Records. The band’s profile and its “wistful, synthy sound” has been on the rise since their  “Loveless” music video became a viral hit on YouTube. L.A. Magazine
