Man who drove into Gold Line tunnel sentenced to prison; fate of gang injunctions; L.A. Marathon street closures

Tunnel: The man who drove his pickup truck into a Gold Line train tunnel in Boyle Heights to evade police was sentenced to two years in state prison. 27-year-old Rafael Lopez Jr. struck a taxi and and drove on the wrong side of the street during a high-speed chase that began in Huntington Park during a police traffic stop.    KTLA

Injunctions: What happens now that the LAPD has been barred from enforcing gang injunctions? Police Chief Charlie Beck said the city may look at ways at how the department could continue to enforce the injunctions or appeal the decision by a federal judge barring their use.
