Found a blue / grey female pit bull Friday 1/27/12 in the Hyperion/Rowena area. no tags, no chip. We had to take her to the North Central Animal Shelter on Saturday the 28th. If her owner is not found, her adoption day will be Thursday the 2nd (2/2/12). She is super people friendly and deserves to find her home as soon as possible. If you recognize her please go to the shelter to take a look!!!

I found [this older dog] with no collar wandering Silver Lake Blvd near Berkley. I think he’s a Cocker Spaniel mix (?). He may be deaf as he responds to nothing. He’s definitely older and has a bit of a crooked lower jaw. I can be reached via email

This friendly cat showed up in our [Silver Lake] driveway this morning. He’s obviously cared for, but by whom? No collar. Will trade information about location found for information about location lost, plus other details only the owner would know. Legit claims please email beteille@gmail.com.

My Lola bird flew off on Christmas Eve. She is a grey parrot with a red tail and says “yo.” She likes oranges. She was last seen on Fanning and Effie where two gardeners in a cream pickup were trying to catch her. She could possibly be with them or still roaming Silverlake. We will offer a HUGE reward for her return, no questions asked.
Lola escaped two years ago and with the help of Silverlake residents and bird lovers across LA, a psychic, a pet detective with trained bloodhounds, an 8 foot billboard, the distribution of 2000 telephone calls and endless flyers, she was returned to me via craigslist. We were so grateful and are sick that she escaped again. All I can do is humbly ask for help again.

* Update: Samantha has been found.
My dog that ran off early yesterday, New Years evening, from our yard while our house sitter was out. Was probably scared by fireworks. Missing since before 7pm, slipped her collar off and has no tags and is not micro chipped. Her name is Samantha. She is 10 years old and very scared of fireworks. older and a little slow and needs medicine daily for current infection.
We love her very much and hope she is found soon!
