The lengthy story provides more details and history about the struggling puppet theater at the south end of Echo Park, describing founder Bob Baker, 84, as “a rather unheralded Hollywood legend, with an uncertain future.” Baker says he’s not giving up:
“We have all kinds of problems that have cropped up recently. But we are not going to close. We’re going to fight this out to the very bitter end.”
