Hanging around Echo Park

Echo Park residents who live on and above Morton Avenue have been watching the two-day installation of a new pre-fab home. “I live on Morton Terrace and I am looking outside my home office window, and there is a 200 foot crane lifting a prefab house onto it’s moorings,” writes Roger Moore. “The crane is an awesome of sight of engineering. I talked with one of the workers and he mentioned it will be around 3000 square feet. Modern of course.”

Meanwhile, Suzi Rogers snapped more photos from her home overlooking the construction site. You can view the photos if you are a member of the Echo Elysian Forum
