A pair of rapes in Boyle Heights and a trio of violent robberies along San Fernando Road were some of the major crimes reported during the week of May 11 – May 17:

Echo Park & Silver Lake (90026)
Fairly quiet, with the exception of two aggravated assaults in Echo Park. Did that temporary surge of officers do the trick? A total of 11 crimes were reported during the week.

Lincoln Heights & Montecito Heights (90031)
Two violent Lincoln Heights robberies were among 11 mostly auto related crimed reported.

El Sereno & Monterey Hills (90032)
Watch your cars: Six grand theft autos reported in El Sereno out of a total of eight crimes.

Boyle Heights (90033)
Two rapes were reported early Sunday morning, one on First Street near the Los Angeles River and another near the 5 Freeway southeast of LA County-USC Medical Center. There were also 9 reports of grand theft auto out of 19 total crimes.

Atwater Village & Silver Lake (90039)
Four crimes reported.

Eagle Rock (90041)
Two violent crimes on May 15 were among seven crimes reported.

Highland Park (90042)
Either crime dropped dramatically or there is something wrong with the online information. Only three crimes reported during the period.

Cypress Park, Glassell Park & Mt. Washington (90065)
A trio of the violent robberies on or near San Fernando Road in Glassell Park were the most serious of 10 total crimes reported.
