Police raid Elysian Valley pot dispensary

LAPD officers were on the scene to take control of the Royal Temple of Zion, a medical marijuana dispensary in Elysian Valley, said a police officer on the scene. The reason for the raid on Eads Street facility near the Los Angeles River was not immediately known. But posts on a medical marijuana news group said that officers with search warrants had arrested four people at the dispensary.

An ad for the Royal Temple of Zion in KUSH LA magazine describes it as 4,000-square feet of “Reggae by the river” with pool tables, ping pong and chess tournaments. A free gram is offered for new patients.
