Autumn drifts into the Arroyo Seco

The early days of fall find Elysian Park green. But there are more yellows and golds to be found along the Arroyo Seco near Montecito Heights, notes the blogger at Above the City. So what if the surroundings are less than pastoral:

“Don’t tell me the concrete makes it ugly. Nor does the small dirty green stream of water that runs down the middle. It’s all wonderful. And we are lucky to live so close to it.”

Check out another scene of fall foliage at Above the City.
