Eastside Looky-Loo: Are you ready to live in an Echo Park landmark (and above a bus line)?

There has been plenty of news coming out of Jensen’s Recreation Center, the Echo Park building where some new ground floor tenants include a vegan restaurant and a furniture store. But upstairs, away from public view, the building at Sunset Boulevard and Logan Street includes two floors of apartments. Most of the apartments in the 1924 buildings are studios with wood floors, built-in vanities, exposed brick walls and some original features. But, if you want to live in 500-square feet of historic charm, you better like – or at least tolerate – the hustle and noise of living in the middle of the stores, restaurants, bars and traffic. How much? $925 a month – utilities included, according to a Craigslist ad
