Echo Park bunny update *

Not only have bunnies been spotted roaming the streets of Echo Park but one resident actually captured a picture of one. Holly Hampton snapped a few photos of this rabbit last week as she walked her dog near Morton and Echo Park avenues. “It was so friendly and unafraid it let me pet it (even with the dog in arm)!”

* Update to the update: More bunny photos. This bunny, pictured at right on Echo Park Avenue near Effie Street, is apparently not afraid of cats, reports Daisy Alexandra Sylbert-Torres of Feeding Bird Boutique. “It just showed up one day. I think it likes our grass. We’ve only seen it once since we shot this photo.”

  1. I saw a butterscotch bunny this evening! When it saw me, it ducked under my neighbor’s car, couldn’t get it to come out. This is near Effie/Lemoyne.
