Echo Park and Silver Lake residents play behind the scene roles in music video

Ever since the first silent film studio opened more than a century ago on the border of Echo Park and Silver Lake, a great many neighborhood residents have made a living in the entertainment industry. The most recent example of this is the newest OK Go band video, which debuted on YouTube Monday. The video for the song “This Too Shall Pass” was filmed inside an Echo Park warehouse on Glendale Boulevard and Aaron Street, not too far from where many of the people involved in the project live, said producer Shirley Moyers, an Echo Park resident who is married to the video’s executive producer, AJ Schnack.
