What do Ke$ha and State Senator Gil Cedillo have in common?

Apparently the pop singer and state politician both have a soft spot for Barragan’s Mexican restaurant in Echo Park. Ke$ha, a former Echo Park resident herself, stopped by Barrgan’s last week during Margarita Wednesdays, according to residents. Cedillo, who represents the 22nd Senate District, never mentions if he’s been to Margarita Wednesdays but he does love Barragan’s Mexican omelette, according to this nearly 8-minute video program hosted by Sylvia Robeldo. The video not only shows Cedillo eating – chicken mole enchiladas, in this case – but also cooking in the restaurant kitchen. “I have to be honest,” he says. “I’m better on the eating side than the cooking side.”
