Anyone have a giant tool kit?

If anyone is in need of a nearly 20-foot tall sign in the shape of a handsaw, the owners of L.A. Carpetime in Echo Park would like to talk.  The giant saw sign that once  hung from the front of a former Temple Street hardware store was recently removed from the building after a new carpet store opened in the space, The Eastsider reported on Wednesday. The manager of L.A. Carpetime said they have no immediate plans for the sign, which sits in a parking lot next to the building. However, he said, “if somebody was interested in it, we would probably sell it.”

  1. I got a giant tool if you’re hot and got the looks that kill!!!!!

  2. Too bad they painted over it last year, it looked more awesome before. But I’ll still take it if they’re giving it away!
