Can you afford the Meso-American lifestyle in Echo Park?

An Echo Park resident who lives in a compound of Pueblo-style buildings called the Atwater Bungalows is looking for a roommate to share his two-bedroom bungalow.  The roommate gets their own bedroom and bath in the 1933 building and the chance to live in what an architectural historian described as a “surrealistic atmosphere.”  The roommate’s share of the rent might also be considered surreal: $1,950, according to the Craiglist ad. Here is more of what to expect:

“This place is really amazing! There is a lot of space here and good vibes. You would be sharing this house with a film industry professional. There is a loving dog in the house and would be ok with small pets with a deposit. Let’s talk!”
