Hundreds of worshipers gathered Thursday night in the parking lot of the San Conrado Mission in Solano Canyon to honor St. Jude, or San Judas Tadeo, on his feast day.  Meanwhile, downtown, hundreds more gathered at La Placita Church. Photographer Aurelio Jose Barrera caught some images of the downtown celebration. “People showed up with paintings and statutes of many sizes of San Judas Tadeo,” Barrera said. “After the mass, the church’s statute of San Judas Tadeo was taken around the block for a procession, where approximately 200 people sang, prayed, danced and played music.”
