$75,000 reward being offered in the killing of Cypress Park brothers

Officers from the LAPD Northeast Division and Councilman Ed Reyes are scheduled to hold a news conference on Thursday to announce a $75,000 reward to help find the killers of  brothers Jose Martinez and Samuel Martinez, who were fatally shot Sept. 25 in the 2900 block of Division Street as they were walking to their Cypress Park home. Their cousin, Marvin Gonzales, was also seriously injured during the attack.  The suspects opened fire after asking the victims what gang they were from. But neither of the Martinez brothers or Gonzales were in a gang, police said.

The $75,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspects.  Anyone with information should contact the Northeast Division.

  1. If you’re in a gang, know that nobody thinks you’re a bad ass, because a five-year-old can shoot a gun…know that we all just think you’re a loser…a pussy with a low self-esteem whose parents were too stupid to raise you right.

  2. Hahaha.. Someone is mad.. Live with it.. Its part of life.. We all gotta go someday.. Im not saying it was right.. But why cry about it..
