Elysian Heights school wants your Fresh & Easy receipts

A neighborhood support group for Elysian Heights Elementary has distributed boxes in several Echo Park businesses to collect Fresh & Easy store receipts that can help raise money for the school.  A representative of the group explains how it works:

“Elysian Heights is participating in Fresh &  Easy’s “Shop for Schools.”  We are collecting receipts and for every $20 that someone spends, the school gets $1. Boxes are located at Barragan’s, Chango, Delilah’s, and Echo Park Cyclery — people can just drop their receipts in the green boxes and we’ll collect them.”

The group is trying to raise as much money as possible by the end of the year.

  1. It would be so nice if Fresh & Easy opened in Echo Park. The Save-a-Lot/Walgreens location would be perfect!
