The Silver Lake Chamber of Commerce is doing their best this holiday season to keep folks out of the malls and in the neighborhood to shop, eat and hang out. The first three Friday evenings in December will be devoted to sales, specials, live bands and an all around festive time. Oh yeah, there’s a store window decorating contest to boot!
Add The Village Bakery in Atwater Village to the handful of local spots that will cook up a Thanksgiving fixins’ for your non-culinary self. And while they are offering up only sides — dinner rolls and desserts — there’s something for everyone. They even have vegetarian stuffing to pair with your Tofurkey!
