If you forgot what blue sky looked like …

Christine Peters of Elysian Heights snapped a shot of a patch of blue that appeared this morning after a week-long deluge.
“We took a walk in the 10 minute window of no rain!!” said Peters of a brief stroll through Elysian Park. Meanwhile, in Silver Lake, blogger Linda Constant took a shot of  the waters covering the new Silver Lake meadow.

Correction: A previous version of this post said that the Silver Lake meadow shot was taken by Nicholas Constant. That’s wrong. The photographer was Linda Constant.

  1. Ha! Glad I wasn’t the only one snapping away while on a walk. The elation of seeing blue sky and “gasp” my shadow was ridiculously enthralling.

  2. i ran outside for those few minutes of sunshine. it was glorious! aaaaand now back to torrential downpours.
