It may very well be that the badge-gate is a non-issue, but the sister of the slain officer’s call for Hiuzar to drop all the politicizing talk about it against Martinez strikes me as somewhat similar to Roman Polanski’s victim wanting all that extradition activity to stop. It isn’t because there’s a belief that no wrongdoing was done so much as the painful memories the attention brings back.
