Save the Date: Weekend Edition

The colors and shapes of California native plants will be the subject of a tour and drawing session at Vista Hermosa Park on Sunday. A naturalist will guide participants through native plant gardens – which bloom within sight of downtown skyscrapers – and then lead a drawing session. Also this weekend, Heritage Square Museum in Montecito Heights will host a Victorian-era fashion show and tea while the Echo Park Film Center will host a presentation on stories based on L.A. homeless residents. There will also be a Folk Art Walk in Highland Park and a pet emergency preparedness workshop in Hermon. Please review this week’s Eastside Mix for music picks and find more to do in Save the Date
