This weekend is your last chance to view the sculptures and other art pieces  featured in “For The Birds,” an exhibit on the grounds of the Audubon Center at Debs Park  in Montecito Heights.  While “For The Birds” closes, Oscar Wilde’s “An Ideal Husband” opens at the Knightsbridge Theatre in Elysian Valley.  Also this weekend,  The Barrio Action Community Resource Fair will take place in El Sereno, the Nortec Collective performs at Cal State L.A. and a “Peace of Mind Retreat” workshop will be held in Elysian Valley.  There are also several community fundraising events, including “Revive Japan” in Echo Park,  “Stories & Enchiladas” at Elysian Heights Elementary, the Lummis Day Gala Fundraiser in Highland Park and Paw Raiser Weekend in Silver Lake.  Check Eastside Mix for live music recommendations. More to do in Save the Date.
