The small parking lot outside of Living Room, the Silver Lake furniture store, will seem a bit more crowded this weekend. Not with cars but with merchandise. The store’s “Staying in Business Parking Lot Sale” on Saturday and Sunday will feature  20% to 50% off an all merchandise, including the Slope Arm Chair pictured at right. said owner Steve Melendrez. The sale  includes “custom orders which are all made from sustainable materials and hand crafted locally, in Los Angeles,” he said.

  • Echo Park Independent Co-op will hold a 15%-off sale on regularly priced merchandise on Saturday when it hosts an art exhibition in conjunction with the Echo Park Art Walk.
