  1. Sandy Driscoll is a very fine photographer. I always enjoy her photos.

  2. Amen to Cisco’s comment. Those trees look like jacarandas, which we don’t have up here in Portland. When I lived on Paloma St in Pasadena our street was lined with them. Messy as all-get-out, but absolutely gorgeous in June as they bloomed. What a pretty shot!

  3. I would say El sereno pet owners should be vigilant too. My neighbor has seen coyotes in the hills here in recent months

  4. Thanks! Yes, that is a Jacaranda in my front yard! Beautiful but messy is an apt description. Right now, I’m enjoying the beautiful part.

I also have coyotes in and around my yard. They are all around much of TheEastsiderLA area neighborhoods. Please, people, keep your cats and little dogs inside. Food left out will attract not only coyotes but skunks, raccoons, opossums. Soooo…….forewarned is forearmed!
