  1. The Autrey museum never should have been allowed to take over park land, taking that land away from park use. It certainly should not be expanding!

    In fact, when it was first planned, it was going to go just a short distance away to some land in Burbank — but the then City Council felt park land was free and so they could use free land to underbid Burbank, and thus they eliminated park land. Park land is NOT free, is not of no value! To exacerbate that previous horrible decision by expanding in the park is criminal! Most especially at the loss of the old Southwest Museum, a beautiful and historic structure.
