Save the Date: Weekend Edition

Painting by Walt Hall

Painter Walt Hall returns to Cactus Gallery in Eagle Rock with “melancholic forest-scapes” in a  solo show – “If Only Tonight We Could Sleep” that opens on Saturday night (there will also be a sneak peak tonight). Hall’s show is one of several new and continuing shows that will be featured during Second Saturday Gallery Night across Northeast L.A.  Also this weekend, there’s a workshop on how to make your own solar-powered gadgets in Echo Park, a chance to meet and have coffee with Congressman Becerra in Glassell Park, an artisan marketplace in Eagle Rock and a pickling demonstration and art opening in El Sereno.  More to do in Save the Date

  1. I can’t seem to retrieve the details for the solar-powered gadget workshop that’s happening this weekend. The “Save the Date” link isn’t working, and there aren’t any hyperlinks. Can you re-post?

    Thanks!
