Save the Date: Weekend Edition

Heritage Square in Montecito Heights concludes its outdoor Silent & Classic Movie Nights on Saturday with the screening of  “Kiss Me Deadly,” a 1955 film noir classic staring Ralph Meeker as detective Mike Hammer and featuring scenes set across downtown and Bunker Hill.  In other upcoming events, an exhibit by street artist Sunny Phono opens  in Echo Park, the Eagle Rock Historical Society hosts a Centennial Ice Cream Social & Book Signing and star gazers will gather at Vista Hermosa Park to catch glimpses of Saturn and other celestial objects. There’s also a crafts fair in Angeleno Heights, a Silver Lake Library book sale and a community clean up in Glassell Park. More to do in our Save the Date calendar.
