Eastside Crime Watch: Weekend Report

A shooting in Silver Lake,  multiple assaults in El Sereno and Boyle Heights and a pair of robberies in Lincoln Heights were among the more serious of the crimes reported this weekend. Here’s a  rundown of incidents compiled by CrimeMapping for Friday, August 5 through Sunday, August 7:

Atwater Village
Vehicle stolen from the 4100 block of  VERDANT ST. Friday night.

Boyle Heights
Two assaults with a deadly weapon were reported on Sunday afternoon in the 300 block  of N SAINT LOUIS ST. and Sunday night in the 1100 block of N EVERGREEN AVE.

Cypress Park
Saturday afternoon burglary reported in the 3000 block of CHAUCER ST.

Eagle Rock
Car break in reported on Friday night in the 1400 block of HEPNER AVE.  Thefts reported in the 1400 block of HILL DR. and 2200 YOSEMITE DR.

East Los Angeles
A Friday night aggravated assault involving an officer was reported in the 4600 block of 3RD ST. A second assault was reported in the 5700 block of WHITTIER BLVD.

El Sereno
Three vehicles were stolen: 5200 ITHACA AVE, 2900 BULLARD AVE and 3600 PATIO PL.

Glassell Park
A vehicle was stolen on Friday night in the 2600 block of W. AVENUE 30.

Highland Park
A Friday night burglary was reported in the 4700 block of LINCOLN Ave.  Two vehicles were stolen: AVENUE 56 & FIGUEROA and the 6500 block of FIGUEROA ST.

Lincoln Heights
Robberies were reported on the 200 block of S AVENUE 19 and near AVENUE 24 & BROADWAY ST.

Silver Lake
A Silver Lake restaurant worker was critically wounded after he was shot in the head while driving on SILVER LAKE BLVD near SCOTT PL.
