Juan David Vasquez Loma, the Silver Lake restaurant worker who was shot in the head while driving on Silver Lake Boulevard Sunday morning, has died of his injuries, reports NBC LA. The LAPD said that Loma died Tuesday morning at L.A. County-USC Medical Center. Loma, a 25-year-old Mexican immigrant who worked as a busboy and waiter at El Chavo restaurant and Garage Pizza, was driving co-workers home early Sunday morning when he was fired upon from the occupants of another vehicle. Police have said the shooting might have been a case of road rage.
