Silver Lake burglars take off with MacBook Pros

NeighborhoodWatchLogo.JPGRobbery detective Mario Mota with the Rampart Division has information about a day time burglary that took place on Monday in the 2700 block of Bellevue Avenue:
On 09/12/11 at 1020 hours, the victim who shares the house with three (3) other roommates locked and secured her front door. On same date at 1230 hours, the victim returned home and noticed the front driveway gate open. The victim went toward the rear door and noticed that the rear window screen had been removed and placed on the ground. The window had been opened and upon checking the house, discovered (4) MacBook Pro’s missing.

  2. Seriously frank? This neighborhood is better than it has ever been. Remember the Rampart CRASH scandal.

    Sucks that these people lost four Macbooks Pros, but I guess it’s nice that they could afford them in the first place. I’m rockin’ a 5 year old low end HP laptop. I still try to keep it backed up though just in case….
