Rally turns Echo Park gas station into classic car parking lot

While cars and trucks were banned today from 10 miles of city streets for CicLAvia, car culture was being celebrated in Echo Park, where members of the SoCal TT  classic car club had gathered for the start of a 650-mile rally to Los Alamos, Calif.  The  club, which is limited those who own “old (pre-1976) and exotic road going contraptions,” had parked their vehicles at Magic Gas station at Echo Park and Morton avenues before roaring off at about 10 a.m.
