  1. LAUSD at it’s finest.
    They pay $18 million more than they originally wanted to pay, for property that was a railroad yards, build a school on the property, then sue the city because the ground is contaminated.
    I don’t suppose it occured to anyone to test the ground before they bought, and then built on it.
    The cynic in me smells a very large rat in this process.
