Dodger Stadium prepares for motorcycles and mud

Photos by Christine Peters

A 50% chance of showers are forecast in time for Saturday’s AMA Supercross at Dodger Stadium, where tractors (pictured above) are busy this week spreading and shaping truckloads of dirt into a motorcycle course.  The dirt – 550 truckloads were spread across the field for last year’s event – will remain in preparation for  next month’s monster truck competition.

  1. I wonder if Loney could hit it over the stack of dirt in left.

  2. When is Mr.McCourt gonna stop messing with the most beautiful place on earth maybe if Villaraigosa wasn’t his buddy and he didn’t have political alliances he would just leave Chavez ravine alone . Why don’t you go back to Boston before we ask you to leave . We don’t need a football stadium in Dodger stadium that should be protected by the Elysian valley historical society . Thats part of Los Angeles history and not revenue for a lousy owner that’s just waiting to profit of Los Angeles residents.

  3. Just Thinking about It makes me want to go out to the Tool Shed and Get On my Wet T-Shirt and Chain Saw !

  4. I hope Charlie Beck is entered in the Supercross. Who knows when he will get another chance to show the residents of Los Angeles something he’s good at.

  5. I hope Alois has a nice rack!
