  1. Dogs are for hunting and protection. Anything beyond that is sheer frivolity.

  2. Re: Highland Park stone cottage for $659k – finding a “character home” in Highland Park rarely costs that much. Though nice, I’ve definitely seen far lovelier Craftsman, Spanish and Victorians well below that price.
