Triple Conjunction over Silver Lake

The moon, Jupiter and Venus put on a celestial show last night as they lined up in a grouping known as a Triple ConjunctionMatt Hartman of Silver Lake took the above photo of the  Triple Conjunction  – Jupiter at the top, a faint crescent moon at the center and Venus at the bottom – at about 8 p.m. looking west to Sunset Junction.  He also created a time-lapse video of images showing how the celestial trio moved across the sky in unison during a three-hour period.  The Triple Conjunction will be visible again tonight weather permitting.

  2. I. saw T.S. Eliot on The Avenue this Evening while out walking ” Sophie ” my AKA Black Labrador Retriever; As he paused for a moment to check his Pocket Watch and share a few kind words. ” it was the season of Darkness, it was the spring of hope, ” He Quoted. ” for good, or for evil ” I. Replied. Yea, for good, or for evil, He echoed; for good, or for evil ~
