  1. So sad this place is a high kill shelter.
I hope someone treats her right somewhere.

  2. Impound #A1293203–the shelter thinks she is about 11 months old, weighs 38 lbs. So far no one has claimed her. Please network for a foster or forever home, she was very sweet, collar, no tag, no chip, will be spayed prior to adoption.

  3. I have had my eye on this dog, I am SO gonna get her <3 She is so adorable!

    • Let me know if you need me. A friend and I are the ones who caught her:) Echo Park Animal Alliance is keeping an eye on her too and I am headed to the shelter Sunday to take photos and vids of her:) She was SO SWEET. Never showed any aggression that night, just a little timid but once she was in the car with some cheeseburgers she was great!

  4. I meant to say let me know if you need any help:)

  5. …Aw, I just realized I don’t have enough time for a dog. I have too many things to do and yeah… I’m sorry Rose 🙁 (the dog’s name). I hope you get a great owner!
    …Yeah, I know she can’t hear me.

  6. Also, I’m gonna go to the Castaic Shelter probably on the weekend.

  7. Big adoption event at city shelters this weekend. I hope this baby finds a loving person or family.

  8. I WAS gonna be that loving person but… now I can’t D:

  9. I meant that i had I just misspelled what I had wrote in my first message:) FYI, this is a FB note that is from a well known volunteer at north central shelter: Hello North Central helpers, today was a very hard day. There are ZERO empty kennels for dogs and cats and animals continuously coming in the front door and on the trucks. You’ll notice our Urgent album is a lot smaller now because many animals sadly did not make it out. We photographed some new dogs today, many already ON ALERT (which means about to be euth) animals that you would never think would be on alert but that is how full the shelter is right now. We beg for your help saving some of our current URGENT animals. Many thanks!

  10. I went to the shelter today and the staff informed me that she is already on the euthanasia alert list!!!! I took videos and photos of her. She is a doll!!! Please call the shelter at 213-485-5767. Thanks!!

  11. UPDATE: She is being fostered by a good friend of mine! Rose will be bailed out tomorrow. Please contact Echo Park Animal Alliance if you are interested in adopting Rose!
