Montecito Heights neighbor dispute turns deadly

A Montecito Heights man died  Tuesday night after he was stabbed in the chest by a neighbor during a dispute, police said.  The suspect was apprehended after the fatal stabbing that took place at about 10 p.m. in the 4500 block of Griffin Avenue, said LAPD spokesman Gregory Baek. The victim, a 26-year-old male, was pronounced dead at a  hospital. ABC7 described the suspect as a 60-year-old neighbor.  Residents said police had blocked off Griffin Avenue during the incident.

  1. clarify the body of the 26 year old man is still at the house in question. He didn’t pass away at hospital

    • just heard about what happened. I was a friend of his knew him since 9th grade and attended some college courses with him as well. Very saddened by the news my condolences to his loved ones and family he leaves behind.
