A man who maybe posing as a package delivery worker is believed to have broken into a Silver Lake home Tuesday afternoon. The LAPD Rampart Division released surveillance camera images of the suspect and a van in connection with the burglary in the 3300 block of Descanso Drive. The burglar used a chair to reach an unlocked bedroom window and enter the home, making off with two computers and coins, according to a police report provided by burglary Detective Mario Mota. Police believe the burglar was the same man shown in images from a surveillance camera, which captured a shot of the man circling the block in a van. Here are details from Mota:

The suspects vehicle was caught on nearby surveillance cameras. The suspect was the passenger who exited a dark colored, possibly black Chevrolet Cargo or very clean Astro Van.  The suspect is a male Blk, tall and thin wearing a jumpsuit type uniform with a logo on the back. The suspect had a clipboard and possibly posing as package delivery employee. The suspect knocked on a nearby neighbors door, saw the video camera and quickly fled. Another camera captured the same suspect and vehicle circling the block and stopping across from the victims house.

  3. This statement from the officer says “The suspect is a male Blk, tall and thin”
but if you lighten the pic the face looks like he is either of Asian descent or has a stocking over his head.
