Silver Lake burglars enter through kitchen window

The residents of a Silver Lake home in the 3200 block of Larissa Avenue locked up the place before leaving on Tuesday. Unfortunately, they may have left a kitchen window unlocked, allowing a burglar to enter and make off with a pair of laptop computers, according to a Burglary Alert distributed by Mario Mota with the Rampart Division.   The Larissa burglary does not year appear on CrimeMapping.com. But there have been several other break-ins reported in the area during the past week , including burglaries in the 2900 block of Sunset Boulevard, 1400 block of North Occidental Boulevard, the 3600 block of Landa Street and two in the 1800 block of Silver Lake Boulevard, according to CrimeMapping.com.
